ES The Sage Filly aka "Sweet Potato" is the second filly from our mare "Kizzie" and ES Gandalf The Grey and we couldn't be happier with this cross!  She is everything we are breeding for here at Edoras Stables.  She has a wonderful heavy build and a nice shoulder, short back, powerful hind end, thick heavy bone, TONS of feather, and is just sweet, sweet, SWEET!!!  We have very high hopes for this little lady and believe she will mature into a fantastic mare!  Watch for this outstanding young lady in the show ring!!!

Update:  Sweet Potato competed in 2 shows this summer and did quite well!  At the Colorado Draft Horse Classic, she took 1st in Gypsy Fillies 2 and under, Grand Champion Gypsy Mare, and Reserve Grand Champion Gypsy!  Then at the Continental Divide Horse Show, Sweet Potato took 4th place in North American Bred Gypsy (I believe there were 9-10 in the class), 3rd place in Gypsy Fillies 2 Year and Under, and 1st place in Open In-Hand Trail!  Way to go, Sweet Potato!!!
