Sam is a beautiful and sweet 10 year old gelding that has had several months professional training under saddle, and has been used for trail riding ever since. He recently spent a month doing extensive trail riding (riding in the mountains over rugged terrain, does great with water crossing, downed timber, will go up, down, or through anything you point him at, and even packed salt into the high country for cows!)  He stands about 14.1 hands and is a very easy keeper.  He has excellent feet and does fine barefoot, but he is currently shod since he was being ridden hard on rocky ground.  Sam has excellent movement, and keeps up with large horses on the trail (he really moveds out at the walk). Sam loads in a trailer great, and trailers well with other horses, but can be a bit nervous when trailering alone (he will paw and sweat when trailered alone). To an approved home only.
