~The Other Fine Horses of Edoras Stables~

Although our main focus at Edoras Stables is to breed Gypsy and Paint horses, we do own some other horses that don't fall into either category.  These horses are used for riding, babysitting youngsters, and sometimes for breeding.

~Lady Arwen~

Spanish Mustang/Arabian Cross Mare

HAHR*1A366011

Arwen is an absolutely stunning young mare!  She moves like a dressage horse with lovely floating gaits.  She is built just about perfect, with nice straight legs and perfect feet.  She has a beautiful face, with one mostly blue eye and one eye with just a fleck of blue.  She is a rich bay color, with a nice wide blaze.

Arwen foaled a beautiful bay Friesian Sporthorse colt on June 6, 2011.  He is nothing short of AMAZING!  This colt is offered for sale to the perfect home only.

~La Luna Bella~

Haflinger/Arabian Cross Mare

HAHR*1A358207

La Luna Bella is a 2003 red dun mare out of our Haflinger mare Precious (R.I.P.) and by our Arabian stallion El Barockus (now sold).  Luna stands about 13.3 hands, but is a great mover and can keep up with full sized horses on the trail.  She is trained under saddle and is used as a pleasure riding horse and a lesson horse. Luna was bred to our Gypsy stallion, Luck of the Irish, in 2008 and gave us a gorgeous dun tobiano colt we called Marley.  We may breed her to one of our Gypsy stallions in the future, but for now she is left open.

Luna is a full sister to our mare, Dream, listed on the For Sale page.  She is also a half sister to Lady Arwen.

Luna is not really for sale, but if someone had to have her, the price would be $2,500.  She could sell with a free breeding to one of the Gypsy stallions.

~Jasper~

2009 Chestnut Appaloosa Colt/Gelding

Jasper is a beautiful 2009 chestnut appaloosa colt out of our breeding stock paint mare, CLASSYNOSPOTS aka Elizabeth, and by the awesome Appaloosa stallion, What A Peach.  He has outstanding conformation, and like all of our horses, Jasper has a great disposition.  We plan on gelding Jasper and keeping him for a riding horse, and using him for lessons.  He will be trained for Versatility Ranch Horse competitions when he is old enough, but for now him main job is to babysit the young colts.

Jasper is not really for sale, but if someone had to have him, the price would be $3,500.

Page updated on January, 2012.
